One Hour In Person Assessment
In person consultations are back! These can be done at a mutually agreeable place and time - many of our local tracks and rec centers work great. Need to bring a little one? No problem! We’ll work this out in a way that works for you and your family. We’ll asses running form, cycling fit and form, (if applicable) core strength and connection, and come up with a plan to move forward with your training schedule using scaling and modifications.
Virtual Coaching Options
MULTISPORT
Virtual coaching is the best option for time crunched mothers and women looking for guidance in their multisport training through pregnancy, as well as trying to conceive. We’ll talk through workout types, durations and intensities, symptom and timeline based modifications, overall fitness goals, and periodized, progressive training. You’ll receive individualized training plans each week that can be continually adjusted to meet the changing needs or your body and your life. Whether you have races on the books or are trying to maintain fitness through this season of life, plans will be catered to meet you where you are, and progressive to where you want to go!
In addition to customized plans, you will get:

Programmed strength workouts to support your goals
Workout feedback and analysis
Communications with Coach Katie in TrainingPeaks, as well as text/email. There is no cap on communications, they are key to your success as an athlete!
Race day planning from race week to race day to recovering well after!
Assistance with gear selection and recommendations
Discounts on kits and branded merchandise
I recommend all athletes purchase a TrainingPeaks premium subscription, but it is not required. I also encourage athletes to have, depending on your sport focus, a smart watch with a heart rate monitor, a trainer with a power meter, or a stationary bike with a power meter.
SINGLE SPORT
All the same benefits of multisport, but we focus on one sport! Only like to run, or just want to focus on bike? This is the best option for you. You will still receive strength programming if you don’t currently have it, but workouts for cross training will not be specific.
pursuit pace
This is a program for both mothers who feel stuck returning to sport early postpartum, as well as experienced athletes who are looking to continue in endurance sports through all stages of motherhood from trying to conceive to pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. If you’re looking for coaching but are looking for more guidance than structure in a way that allows you to respond to the constantly changing demands of motherhood, this is for you!
For this coaching option, athletes must subscribe to TrainingPeaks Premium, and commit to uploading workouts. This program is not available for those doing long-course triathlon.
What you can expect:
Weekly targets of mileage, time, and focus written into your workout log in TrainingPeaks.
Programmed strength training sessions 1-2 times per week that match your goals
Biweekly workout analysis
Private WhatsApp, Facebook, and Strava groups
Discounts on kits and merchandise
Ask Me Anything - 30 or 60 min call
Open to endurance athletes AND coaches who have questions about navigating training during pregnancy and postpartum, or if you’re considering motherhood/trying to conceieve and want to learn more. If you’re an athlete currently using a coach for triathlon, cycling or running, I will help support you within your current plans to ensure there are scaling and safety measures in place depending on your history and progress. We will work through modifications and adjustments to keep you on the path to racing and training successfully without symptoms or injuries!
You’ll get an email recap after each call to talk through your plans and progression for you, or your athlete.
